Pry the tab washer away from the nut on the back of the case; remove the nut; hold a cup under the end of the spring gear (a spray paint can lid works good); tap the spring gear shaft into the case; all the little needle bearing will fall into the cup (should have 21); grab the shaft where the needles were and pull the spring gear assembly out. When you re-install the assembly use grease to stick the needles onto the shaft.
