I went out with her also, now I remember, her dad was the bass player for Sky Saxon and the Seeds!

Pushing Too Hard

Yes I got it in trade for your piece of shit TV200, that Black and Gold thing you had given or sold to Jeff Boxer.

I think I paid $150.00 for the TV200 from Jeff, and then shelled out another couple hundred of dollars to Geoff Clausen at Scootermania, who never really fixed the bike.

I think in total I spent $600.00, rode it home from the shop and it died after I got it home.

I got pissed, called up Emilio and Jeff, they came over with a van, picked up the TV and hauled it away.

They compromised with me and traded the TV200 for the Li150 straight up, although something tells me, that they were planning this all along.

TV's weren't all that big of a deal back then, and after watching you having problems at the Style Council show I just said forget it.

That Li150 was all fixed when I got it, never had any problems with it. I would have that bike still today, except for the fact that in 1987 or so, some idiot was driving in my street, the bike was parked outside my house on the street. It was raining and he fishtailed right into the bike. BANG!

Only cosmetic damage, but at that time there were not shops around anymore except for Scooterville in Anahiem, and I didn't know of any placed over seas to get spares from.

Luckily I ran into some guys riding a Li150 in Chatsworth and they told me about a guy in Reseda named Chris Brett aka Catman and he was able to fix the Li.

I gave it to him since I had just bought a 1968 Li150 in pristene condition, I mean this was a nuts and bolts re-build, re-sprayed powder coated Grey and Black everything brand new, with receipts from Wildcat in the UK.

The guy sold it to me for $850.00.

: I went out with her for a SHORT time (during a bad spell between Jackie and I), oh god was that bike slow, or at least she rode it slow. We rode down to OC once and I damn near went nuts with impatience. She bought that from a car dealer on Lankershim Bl. along with her friend who bought a DL150 from the same place. The dealership had them in the window for ages, as I remember they got a really killer deal on them. The DL was the first GP bike I ever saw here (the owner of the car dealers imported them cause they were cute!). The Servette was really clean as it was NEW! The DL was also new but the wiring was a mess, my friend english Tim and I spent ages sorting it out for Michelles friend. And then you got my Lammy! I still feel bad that it turned out to be a heap inside the motor, I'll have to tell you bout the time the back wheel and axle fell OUT of the case while doing 50+ on Ventura, SCARY!!!!
