scootrs goods observation

so today i recieved to my surprise a box from vietnam. right away i knew it had to be my order from scootrs, because i did not get express service on my mail-order-bride.
anyhow, let me start off with this:
the package it all came in was pretty tore up. it looked like some monks did the customs job on it. however, once inside i was taken aback at how well everything had been wrapped. i am sure randall and crew are used to the customs game. it took me, no lie, 15 minutes to unwrap the drop bars. they were so well protected. same deal with the disk brake.
so, lets get to the goods...
drop bars:
wow. i ordered dropbars, expecting a roughly painted headset base and top. boy was i wrong. they were already assembled, with the pulleys, rods, headlight ring, lever perches, and grips on it. they even mounted my master cylinder on it and had the hose already routed thru the headset. amazing job. the polishing on the perches is very well done, and the paint is pretty damn good. not the best, but good.
the only thing i would change about the master cylinder is the fact that when you pull the lever in completely it does not line up completely. however, i doubt this is going to be a problem, because how often do you pull a hydraulic lever in all the way?
disk brake:
once again, amazing. i am going to paint the calipers, but that is besides the pint. the caliper bracket is beautifully done, and the hub WAS painted black, as i asked them too a while ago before i even placed the order.
the disk looks good, and i cant wait to put it all together.
in about amonth, when i am hoping to have this beast road ready, i will let everyone know how it al came together, but until then, i am very happy with my purchase.
the shipping of course was a bit more than i would want to pay, but the merch definitely makes up for it. the stuff even got here a week and a half soon er than they said they would even ship it out.
two thumbs up from me.
thanks scootrs.
oh, and randall, i had an idea. it looks as tho you make your own pulleys, well, an idea i hgad was this: make the throttle pulley's throw larger, that way it can act as a quick turn throttle without having to cut anything up.
just an idea
thanks
pj
