Take an MSF class!

That's the ONLY way to learn ... a Motorcycle Safety Foundation class. It will teach her well and make her take riding seriously. Recommended for anyone. Call your DMV and ask them where and when. It usually counts as your motorcycle license test, too. Take the class with her. Even if you're an veteran rider, you'll learn something.
Or let her learn the old school way: Put her on a dirt bike and let her crash until she figures it out.
