Here's a cool example of Alex's attentiveness to his customer base.

A few weeks ago, I had posted in a BBS thread that, in general, I had found Lambretta shops and parts makers to be super easy to deal with (Casa, WCLW, Scootrs, Dean Suinn), which hasn't always been my experience with more Vesap-oriented scooter shops. Anyhow, I also mentioned that the one problem I had was in finding decent cables for Lambrettas.

So, what does Alex do? He sends me a package with a print out of my post, a bag of cables to try out, and a quick note saying that if I like 'em, just send a check on over. Just rec'd it yesterday.

Alex, my hat's off to you for the "preemptive" parts order. You can expect payment from me as they looked more strongly braided than my current set.

PS: Now, contrast that with the earlier post about Piaggio trolling mailing lists to tell people they shouldn't do performance upgrades. Erg!

: the reason? alex m.
: putting the semi-super-secret lammy back together friday for OC8, realized i could not find the rear brake adjuster, and called alex. of course i ordered a hell of a lot of other stuff, and it was to me monday.
: dont wanna talk crap, but who has had such luck with a vespa shop?
: thank alex, you make my world just a bit happier.
: pj
: ps, i found the brake adjuster yesterday too:)
