: I was thinking of getting a ET4 (when they start selling them) or an older vintage vespa for riding in San Francisco. Since there are a lot of steep hills I wanted to know if the ET4 could manage it or should I go for the old one? If I get an older one which model is most powerful? Thanks!@

Well.....I'm not familiar with the ET4's, but I do know that they are automatic....i.e. no shifting. I like being able to control what gear I'm in for hills. Maybe the ET4 takes hills well, I don't know...older Vespas or Lambrettas 150cc or larger should do you fine for hills.
