: I was thinking of getting a ET4 (when they start selling them) or an older vintage vespa for riding in San Francisco. Since there are a lot of steep hills I wanted to know if the ET4 could manage it or should I go for the old one? If I get an older one which model is most powerful? Thanks!@

if you want a bike to tackle the hills, a vespa GS or SS has 'more toe than a roman sandle' and enough torque to handle most hills. The ET4 is nice bike. Just make sure you know what you are buying- a vintage bike is not somthing that will need servicing every 6 months and maybe the odd bulb or cable changed. The ET4 is a better bike if you want less hassle.
