Congratulations to Tank for getting their stuff together and getting thru CARB.
This cert is for the 250 but the 150 passed too.

Well done!

So does this mean that I can legally register and put this scooter on the road in all 50 states?

I just purchased a Tank Touring 150CC but still waiting for the Certifcate of Origin so I have not even gone to the DMV to register it yet. I am in New Jersey by the way.

So what do you think of the tank 150cc touring scooter so far? I was thinking of buying one soon, but wasn't able to find any reviews about them online. The only info online was about the baron model, in the gallery section. Any input would help!!

So far so good. Final installation was easy...had to install the battery, front wheel, speedometer cable, a couple of body panels (front fender), and put gas in it. The manual is horrible and won't help for shit because it is translated in such bad english. I figure for $1600 bucks its a great buy. A Honda Reflex costs almost $6000 which was my second choice. I figure I can buy 3 replacements and still have money left over! Just kidding hopefully I can keep this one as long as possible. The tank touring model looks great and I get lots of compliments on it. It is plenty quick too. I've only had it for about a week so time will tell about reliability. I am an engineer as well as really good working on my cars so hopefully I won't have too much of a tough time with this machine. If you decide to get one, keep in touch because I think it would help us out to compare notes and such. I have a feeling I'll be on this board for a long time, at least until I get my Honda ST1300 next year

So far So good on the Tank 150cc Touring? I have a local dealership here in Indy that is selling the TANK model line. It seems to have incredible value, however his 150cc Touring by Tank is called the "FURNACE".
He is selling for $1899- drive off lot. I can probably get him to match for around $1650.
Is this TANK worth it and has anyone heard of "Furnace"?

The tank demo bike, the Urban Sporty 50, which turned out to be an 85, is actually working out very well with it approching 1000 KM and no problems at all.

I recently purchased and titled a Strada scooter in NJ. You need your bill of sale (if you already paid tax it needs a stamp stating such or you will have to pay at DMV) and your MCO, certificate of origin, make sure the back of this is stamped and signed stating the odometer reading. I got turned away because the dealer didn’t sign the odometer statement on the back after waiting for 30 mins and they were closing so I had to go back. That being said they didn’t even check for that any other time I went and almost missed it the first time. You will also need your insurance card with you. Don’t forget your motorcycle endorsement on your license.
