First of all, get your facts correct it is a All Terrain Vehicle not a scooter Most cars motorcycle in the USA comes from China. Lets go into your house and see how many things are from China. Your just a loser with nothing better to do than try and pick on 1 person selling 1 ATV. Go play around with the big company that sell thousands of these same atv a month. Just in case you didnt know thses are legal to sell in the USA Hello, This ATV is Brand New with no mileage. As far as flooding the USA market with these ATV's what is your point, what do you care? The Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki dealerships are selling the same thing. You think their products are better made, think again they all come for the same place China so do your research. I did do research and the ATV I have is better made the Honda and Kawasaki. Why should the consumer pay $1600 double for an ATV that has a brand name on it when they can get the same for less. In meaning kids ATV, anything a kid rides is dangerous from a bicycle to a to playing with toys that is why parents must supervise and the bike has two safety features. If your go to complaining about me selling 1 ATV go stand out in front of the dozens of dealerships in Massachusetts and protest. If your not interested in purchasing dont email me. I have had 2 of the same atv's for 2 yrs now and they are still running fine!!!!!!

You have a lot of anger. Take a deep breath. >>>First of all, get your facts correct it is a All Terrain Vehicle not a scooter I know it is not a scooter. If you note the headline of my post on the BBS, it says "This isn't a scooter". You seem to fail and recognize that the same people making dangerous motorcycles and scooters are making ATV. They are making cheap knock offs, saying they are the exact same product as Honda, Kawasaki etcc.. and then provide no warrenty or support >>>>>>>>Most cars motorcycle in the USA comes from China. Lets go into your house and see how many things are from China. I have nothing against things made in China, I own I lot of things made in China. The problem here is that there are people importing containers of crappy vehicles and people are getting screwed. There is very little government oversight on this so as a MEMBER of the Craig list community, we try to inform people when they may be unwittingly doing something wrong. That goes for buying or selling. I didn't flag your craig list post. I asked for more input on the BBS. >>Your just a loser with nothing better to do than try and pick on 1 person selling 1 ATV. I may be a loser, but I am not picking on you. I see many people with dreams of making big bucks selling crap and people get hurt. That is why I emailed you. >>>>>Go play around with the big company that sell thousands of these same atv a month. Usually the government watches these people better so I don't have to. >>>>Just in case you didnt know thses are legal to sell in the USA Maybe, maybe not. Can you supply me with some documentation? Some of the manufacturers tell suppliers their product is legal, and they turn out not legal. Read a few of the threads on this board. There are a number "Dealers" that are selling street legal scooters, that are neither street legal or legal to drive in certain states. I know the rules are different for ATVs. That is one reason I asked for input. >>>>>>As far as flooding the USA market with these ATV's what is your point, what do you care?
It's flooding the market with really bad dangerous stuff. It doesn't matter where it was made or if it is a peice of scuba equipment. I care that people are getting financially screwed by bad products and they may get hurt. I don't like to see people get screwed. I also fix people up after crashes.
Tell me about your research. The reason they cost more is because they have to stand beind their products so they insure quality control. Your vehicles don't.
I personnaly think ATV's are unsafe for kids, but that is not the issue. I am not for banning ATV. I brought up the children Issue because you are selling an ATV FOR CHILDREN. It's bad enough schlepping crap to unkowing adults, but when their kid takes it for a ride and it's a peice a crap, that brings it to another level. I do get on my neighbors for letting their kids ride crappy dangerous bicyles. I then fix them for free. >>>If your not interested in purchasing dont email me. I emailed you out of curtesy. I didn't just start screaming to everyone that you sell crap and should be removed from craig list. I honestly don't know the quality of the product you sell so I am asking for peoples opinions. I told you my concerns and I let you know where I was gathering some of my information. I also provided you a forum to show you have done due diligence and have been very satisfied with the quality of your products. >>>>I have had 2 of the same atv's for 2 yrs now and they are still running fine!!!!!! Good. Who is the manufacturer? What is the Model? Has there been any product testing you would like to share? Andrew The Loser

Hey, sorry for the show of anger. I understand your point. I wouldnt sell anything that wasnt safe or I have personally riden. I have had two of these same exact Atv's for the past 2yrs. and havnt had any problem with eitheir of them. Every ATV that I have I go over with a fine tooth comb before I advertise and this is the first 2 I have ever tried to sell. I tighten and recheck every nut and bolt. I have been to every dealership you can think off and their ATV's right down to every nut and bolt are the same as this ATV i have. Suzuki and Honda ATV's are usaully produced in the same exact plants side by side as these so called knock offs. As far as me advertising for kids I will remove that from my posting. In my opinion buying from a dealership you get screwed some offer no warranties or very limited ones. Their ATV's have none of the safety features that these imports have. I mean go to walmart they sell electric ATV's that are the same size made in China and they are for kids? Go On Ebay there is dealers that have sold 1000's upon 1000's of these same ATv's all over the USA. So that leads me to believe the the consumers of the USA what to purchase this type of Import ATV's. Why I dont know. Maybe they did their research and came up with the same conculsion that I came up with which is price!! I bought this one from a wholesale dealer and the only warranty I got was if it breaks send the part back I we will replace free.. As far as model i just know it is a 50cc who makes it I have no Idea but Iam guesiing maybe ASA Scooter. They are fully certified. As far as scooters and those pocket they should never make them legal to drive on public roads now those are dangerous. Compared to a kid riding a 4 wheel ATV in their back yard Well if there as anything I can do for you about more info please let me know. |

Where is the information that you have that it will require EPA cert.? I would like to know so that I dont buy them if they are no good. Anything bought before this EPA cert goes into effect is legal and wouldnt need to be EPA certified if it is bought before 2006 only if it is bought after 2006. |

So what is the emission requirements of a 4 stroke 80cc ATV? New EPA emissions rules may mark end of two-strokesThe U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is adopting strict emissions standards that could mean the end of two-stroke trail bikes and All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) by 2006, the AMA reports. In announcing the new emissions standards in September, the EPA said the rules "encourage manufacturers of these vehicles to switch from two-stroke engines to cleaner four-stroke engines, beginning in 2006" for trail machines. The federal agency is exempting racing machines from the strict emissions standards, so motocrossers won't be affected, and left the door open for the production of a new breed of two-stroke engines by creating a special, less-stringent emissions standard for "certified competition machines" that could be used for competition and trail riding. The EPA also scrapped an earlier plan to make ATVs meet even stricter emissions standards in 2009. These are the first federal emissions standards created for off-highway motorcycles and ATVs. The EPA has set requirements only slightly less stringent than those in place in California, which have severely restricted two-stroke off-highway machine use there. National requirements for road motorcycles have been in place for more than 20 years and are in the process of being replaced with stricter standards. Under the new EPA rules, new trail bikes and ATVs would be subject to strict emissions requirements that would be partially phased-in in 2006. Full compliance would be required by the manufacturers in 2007. The requirements wouldn't affect machines built through 2005, but would apply to machines built for the 2006 model year and thereafter. The EPA said it expects that manufacturers will meet these new standards for trail machines by using four-stroke engines. When the EPA was putting together the new rules, the AMA urged the agency to avoid regulations that would eliminate two-stroke machines, which are favored by many off-highway riders for their light weight and power characteristics. Instead, the AMA told the agency to consider creating separate emissions standards for four-stroke and two-stroke motorcycles and ATVs. While the EPA rejected the idea of separate standards for four-strokes and two-strokes, it did create a new classification called the "certified competition machine," which could be used for competition or trail riding. The emissions standards for a certified competition machine aren't as strict as those for a trail bike or non-competition ATV. Theoretically, this could become the standard for two-stroke trail motorcycles and ATVs. The AMA also asked the EPA to set specific emissions goals that must be met by off-highway motorcycle and ATV manufacturers rather than mandating what equipment must be on the bikes, such as catalytic converters. The EPA agreed. The AMA also told the EPA to reconsider an idea to restrict the sale of "competition-only" machines to professionals. The AMA noted that most off-highway motorcycle and ATV racing in the United States involves amateurs. The EPA agreed in its final rules, saying it would be "inappropriate" to limit competition machines to professional racers. Finally, the AMA and others involved in motorcycling presented data to show that the EPA grossly overestimated the annual use of off-highway motorcycles and ATVs and, as a result, overestimated the amount of pollution they cause. The EPA agreed, and that's at least part of the reason the agency decided at this time not to require ATVs to meet even stricter emissions requirements beginning in 2009. |

I have to say, while I dislike the concept of Chinese two stroke scooters being on the road, I'm not too concerned about 50cc Chinese ATVs. First of all, the "street legal" issue does not come up here, as most ATVs are not street legal in the US. The quality may be lower, but when there are an extra two wheels, dropping an exhaust or seizing an engine is less of a safety issue. Sure, it probably will not hold up forever, but at half the cost, I'd imagine that everyone buying them is aware of that. |
