Fraudulent EPA certificates are illegal last time I checked.

Wow, this is cute! If anyone is interested in seing the original emissions diagram on this label, please contact me. I DID IT MYSELF!!! Engine family code is completely fake. It's supposed to start with a model year (like 5 or 6) and this one starts with 1. Evaporative family code is nonexistent, yet it says on the label that it's California compliant. Why? because I made that label myself too and these guys are just too stupid to delete CARB information.

Up to this, I had high opinion of PSF based on user comments, but now they're on my shit list. I hope this was some sort of a fluke because if it isn't, I'm going after them. I will submit their information to every agency and they should realize that fake labels are a FELONY!!!

You sound like sour grapes, my Strada RX-150 was inspected and passed by my DMV. The epa sticker reads the same as my honda silver wing sticker's language.

So was my Peugeot, but it's not EPA certified and it's not DOT compliant. Your local DMV doesn't know jack and their inspection and registration doesn't mean your bike conforms to federal standards or has been certified with federal agencies.

Also, if you're going to endorse a brand or model, you need to register.

"Looks like I was wrong about the Strada"

I just received and email with a link to the epa website.

http://www.epa.gov/otaq/cert/veh-cert/cert-tst/04m.txt

where the strada EPA verification is listed:

4YPXC.125QJA 153QMI-3 1 125 Carburetor
Natural

FAMILY MODELS: QS125T-4A, QS125T-6, QS125T-3C QS125T-3E,
QS125T-B, CS125T-5 CS125T-6

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
QJ125T-4A 125 EM
153QMI-3, 1P52QMI 1-1 7@ 7500 8.8@ 7000 210 117.1 A-2
23.6 0.5 4

I was wrong about it not being EPA and I apologize. This is a good example of communication with the company resolving the issue. I al trying to verify the CARB status but this bike does show up on the epa list

Interesting. Good to know. My point stands that just because one's local DMV allows something to be registered that does not make it EPA certified or DOT compliant.

   What bothers me is...
if the bike is legal, why the fake sticker?

Because EPA certification above is for year 2004, not 2005. Also, because they wanted to sell it in California and it doesn't have CARB.
