So, Stab's real world is:
1)bad people can attack cops
2)cops need better ways to defend themselves.

If you did'nt have the 1st, there would be no need for the 2nd.

I have been arrested more times than most of y'all put together when I was younger. I blamed nobody but myself. Not the cops, not the system, not anyone. Back then I chose to make wrong decisions, I chose to hang out with the wrong crowd, and I chose to be hard headed and not listen to the wiser ones. But I eventually did a 180 from that life. And guess what? I have never had a problem since. Is'nt that strange how that works?

Now, if y'all could read correctly, I did not say "another step is for people to stop attacking", but I said "to GET people", which implies that steps needs to be taken in order for people to quite putting themselves in these situations. For one, get off those stupid drugs, maintain some structure in life, and so on. I know, easier said than done, but the more we tie the hands of our police, the worse it will get out there.

i fear now since it's "less than lethal" cops will be more likly to use it, and abuse it. i'll bet in less that a year there will be reports of cops using these on suspects already cuffed and detained.

atleast they have admitted there is a problem and the ball is rolling toward a solution.

Hey, Milan, I speak from experience on that matter.
Like I said before, alot of my feelings comes from experience, not some book or college protest pamplet.

Think about it. If that jack-ass was not on drugs(especially at his age), none of that would have happened. But he choose to live that type of life, and he paid the ultimate price.

SCOTT, have you already forgoten Eli Eloy Escobar II, 14 and Jose Vargas Jr., 15, Jose was killed by an hpd officer at an intersection when the cop stuck his pistol through the wind of the blazer the kid was in and shot him in the head, he was killed on Oct. 31, and Eli, he was shot in the head, by a cop,at point blank range accoring to witnesses with other cops on top of him, the cops were there because there was a report of a fight, he was kiled Nov 21.
