"Baker is back"
| |
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3294979.stm Now James Baker is back. Kissinger was appointed the head of the 911 commission. Rumsfeld is back. The old gang is all here. These are all has-beens from up to 35 years ago. I feel like I'm back in the Nixon and Reagan administrations. |

<<US President George W Bush has named former Secretary of State James Baker head of efforts to reduce Iraq's debt.>> Yeah, it will be interesting to see how is he going to consolidate $7bn of Iraq's debt to Russia. Hmm, let's see......by not awarding any contracts to Russian companies? That will help for starters.....

What's even more silly is that Bush asked Russia, France, China, and Germany to forgive their loans to Iraq that same day he cut them out of the contracts. As I said before, Bush is talking into the wrong end of a horse.
